Parking & Registration
You can find directions to campus here. Registration is from 8:00-8:45 am in the Marisa Fieldhouse/Gymnasium (Number 14 on the campus map). Please park in the parking lots marked "PP" or "VP" on the campus map. You may also park in any street parking that is available.
You MUST bring a blue card, signed by your unit leader, with all areas for your personal information and your unit information completed. Please remember to complete all prerequisite requirements prior to arriving on campus. Click here to download the prerequisite requirements for each course that is offered. You must bring evidence of completion of the prerequisite requirements or documentation from a unit leader that the prerequisite requirements have been completed to his or her satisfaction. If you do not have evidence or documentation of completion you will leave with an incomplete blue card.
Parents and troop leaders are welcome to stay on campus throughout the day. Only unit leaders in Class A/Field Uniforms will be permitted to accompany scouts to sessions, unless arrangements are made to accommodate special needs of a scout. Adult participants should not be registered for a specific merit badge. Only scouts should be registered for badges. Adult participants have a general registration. If you are an adult who has erroneously registered for a specific badge, please contact us so you can be removed from the merit badge registration list and placed into the general adult participant category.
We have planned some activities in which to participate throughout the day including our College Searching 101 Session at 9:30 am in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center (Number 12 on the campus map). Click here to see all of the activities planned for adult participants.
What to Wear and Bring
Scouts should wear their Class A/Field Uniform. Dress for weather as you will be walking across campus and some instruction may take place outdoors depending on the merit badge. All scouts should bring a water bottle labeled with their name, a signed blue card, a notebook and pencil or pen, evidence or documentation of prerequisite completion, and any other items needed for the badge according to the prerequisites. Scouts may bring spending money for Starbucks but should not bring other valuables with them. Scouts are responsible for any spending money or other items they bring with them. No storage is available. Scouts participating in the pottery or fingerprinting merit badges will get dirty and should wear a Class B uniform (Scout T-shirt) either under their Class A/Field Uniform or instead of it. Scouts taking the music merit badge should bring their primary instruments if they have one.
