Waynesburg University to hold workshop to benefit local teachers

Waynesburg University, led by Dr. Lawrence Kushner, Director of Graduate Programs in Education and founder of the Western Pennsylvania Education Consortium, will host an informational workshop Tuesday, May 8.

“The Teacher Leader Workshop” will be held at Waynesburg University’s Southpointe location. Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m., followed by introductions and group assignments beginning at 8:05 a.m. The workshop will offer four informative sessions and a special presentation on the use of the iPad in the classroom.

Teachers from the 17 partner school districts are invited to attend. The districts include:

  • Ambridge
  • Bethel Park
  • Brentwood
  • Canon-McMillan
  • Chartiers-Houston
  • Chartiers Valley
  • Cornell
  • East Allegheny
  • Jefferson-Morgan
  • Mars
  • Mt. Lebanon
  • South Allegheny
  • South Fayette
  • Washington
  • West Allegheny
  • Woodland Hills
  • Upper St. Clair
